On May 22, the Office of Global Engagement of our university welcomed Lecturer BEEDASSY from Mauritius National Institute of Education, who came to our university to participate in the Seminar of Modern Remote Education in African English-speaking countries, and Mr. MUASYA, Chief Quality and Standard Assurance Officer of the Ministry of Education of Kenya.

Secretary Pang Jincai of the Physical Education College organized a symposium, received the guests, and had cordial and friendly conversations. At the symposium, the Lecturer BEEDASSY consulted on admission, student cultivation, and the training and competitions of sports teams. Mr. MUASYA was briefed on topics such as student employment, curriculum design, and remote education for sports majors in our college. Sun Ru, Deputy Dean of the college, Associate Professor Guo Yulian, Secretary of the Party Branch of the Theory Course Teaching and Research Office, and two African guests conducted in-depth exchanges on the related issues mentioned above. The two African guests expressed their sincere gratitude for the warm hospitality of the college,as well as their hope to have deeper exchanges and interactions with our college in the future, and extended invitations to the teachers and students of our college to visit Mauritius and Kenya. Besides, they also hoped to have the opportunity to send outstanding talents to study in our college and enhance cooperation and exchanges between the two sides in the field of sports.

Secretary Pang expressed his gratitude to the university and the Office of Global Engagement for providing the College with opportunities for foreign exchanges. Also, he extended sincere wishes to the two African guests, hoping that they could send our regards to their teachers and students and welcoming more sports talents from African countries to visit our college to enhance China-Africa friendship and promote common progress.

After the conference, Lecturer BEEDASSY and Mr. MUASYA visited the gymnasium in the Central Campus., accompanied by Professor Sun Ru, Professor Guo Yulian, and Yang Changming of the Office of Global Engagement.
